Index Universal Life

Indexed Universal Life Insurance (IUL)

Indexed Universal Life Insurance (IUL) is permanent life insurance that offers death benefit protection. Like other forms of permanent life insurance, your premium payments can earn interest and grow the cash value of your policy.
The word "Indexed" reflects the selected stock market indices (S&P 500, Russell 2000, DJIA, and more options) in which the growth of the policy performs over a specific period of time, and that interest is credited to the policy.

An IUL still offers the traditional declared interest rate that other permanent life insurance policies offer, but IUL allows more growth when the market consistently moves in a positive direction. Keep in mind, your premiums and Cash Value (CV) are never in the stock market so you are protected from losses due to market risk.
What does this mean when the stock market does go down?
THE INTEREST CREDITING STRATEGY CANNOT GO BELOW 0% - GUARANTEED!
KEEP IN MIND, YOU ARE STILL GUARANTEED THE MINIMIUM DECLARED INTEREST RATE STATED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CONTRACT

What makes the IUL product stand out?

Over time, the IUL can create a much higher accumulation growth rate, as opposed to a fixed guaranteed rate that other permanent life insurance policies provide.
Over time, the IUL can create a TAX FREE INCOME from the policy that does not have to be paid back. This tax free income can be used for:
  • Retirement
  • Children's College Funding
  • A Supplemental Income
  • Providing a Supplemental Income For Professional Athletes Under High Valued Sports Contracts.
  • Providing Income Needed During A Hardship (as defined in your contract)

IUL Contract Riders for Emergency Financial Purposes

The IUL also offers select riders that are built in or can be added to the IUL contract. Some of these Riders include the opportunity for Accelerated Death Benefits, which makes a portion of the Death Benefit available during the insured's lifetime to cover medical expenses. Examples of these riders include:
  • Long Term Care Rider
  • Chronic Illness Rider
  • Terminal Illness Rider
  • Critical Illness Rider
More Riders available upon request.
